Saskatoon Police are continuing to investigate the December 2023 homicide of a 33-year-old man.
Investigators with the Major Crime Section are releasing additional images of two persons they are seeking to identify and speak with. One individual is wearing a backwards black baseball hat, a black and red jacket, and carrying a blue bag. The second is wearing a black jacket, light-coloured pants, and distinct black-and-white shoes. The individuals were seen at approximately 1:40 a.m., December 14, 2023, outside a business in the 2200 block of 22nd Street West.

Investigators with the Major Crime Section are releasing an image and video footage of a suspect and asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person. The male suspect is described as wearing a dark jacket, light-coloured pants, and dark shoes. The suspect was walking southbound on Witney Avenue towards 21st Street. Investigators believe the suspect entered a residence in the area at approximately 1:30 a.m., December 14, 2023.

Investigators with the Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section are continuing to follow-up on yesterday’s homicide.
Preliminary investigation has determined the victim was involved in a confrontation with an individual that led to the victim sustaining a gunshot wound. At this time, it does not appear they were known to each other. Another man was with the victim at the time of the incident but he was not injured.
Residents in the area of the 2700 block of 21st Street West are asked to check their home surveillance systems between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. on December 14, 2023, and contact police with any information.
