A man is facing charges after police responded to a firearms complaint last night.

At approximately 11:40 p.m., January 9, 2024, patrol officers responded to a restaurant in the 2200 block of 22nd Street West after it was reported a man was walking around with a firearm. Upon arrival, officers located the individual hiding behind a nearby building, and upon further investigation, found him to be concealing a pellet gun in his waistband.

The 21-year-old man is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon and Carrying Concealed Weapon. (Court Info # 991255471)
