Renewed Request For Public Assistance - Historical Homicide - Isaiah Brunton

The Saskatoon Police Service is renewing its request for public assistance in the historical homicide of Isaiah Brunton.

It has been four years since then 17-year-old Isaiah Brunton was shot and left in critical condition at an address in the 200 block of Avenue S North. In the afternoon hours of February 17, 2020, Isaiah succumbed to his injuries while in hospital.

The investigation into this historical homicide remains open. No suspects have been arrested but investigators believe members of the public may have information helpful in solving the case. Saskatoon Police are investigating the second homicide of the year. On February 17, 2020, 17 year old, Isaiah Brunton succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

On Saturday, February 15, 2020, at approximately 6:45 p.m., officers responded to reports of an injured male in the 200 block of Avenue S North. The 17 year old male victim, now known as Isaiah Brunton, was found suffering from a gunshot wound. The Saskatchewan Coroners Service along with investigators from the Major Crime Section, Forensic Identification Section, Guns and Gangs Unit and Patrol are continuing to investigate. An autopsy will be conducted this week.
