Approximately 11:45 p.m., February 13, 2024, police observed a vehicle that had been reported stolen. A traffic stop was attempted but the driver refused to stop and evaded police.

While evading the vehicle lost control several times, colliding with a parked car and bus stop, before crashing into a snow bank.

The driver was arrested, and upon a search of his person police located approximately four grams of methamphetamine.

As a result, the 34-year-old man was charged with dangerous driving, evading police, obstructing a peace officer and possession of methamphetamine. He was also found to be wanted on outstanding warrants, and had breached a release order.
