Police presence in the 800 block of 20th St W has concluded.
Officers initially responded to a call to the area for an injured person in the street and arrived to find a 31 year old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. He was transported to the hospital with what are believed to be serious but non-life threatening injuries. Two people were arrested nearby, but later released. Members of the Serious Assault Unit are investigating.

Police are conducting a weapons investigation in the area of 800 block of 20th Street West; a significant police presence exists and traffic restrictions are in place.
Members of the public are asked to avoid the area. An update will be provided upon conclusion of the incident or when new information becomes known.
