At approximately 5:00 p.m., January 22, 2024, Saskatoon Police responded to a report of a disturbance inside a restaurant in the 100 block of Confederation Drive. Upon arrival, officers were moving several people outside the building when they discovered an unresponsive male in a booth. Life saving measures were taken, however the man was declared deceased.

The death is not considered to be suspicious and will be investigated by the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
