A 23-year-old Saskatoon man is facing charges in connection to a weapons related offence.

At approximately 10:50 p.m. on April 19, 2024 police observed three men acting suspiciously in the 2100 Block of 22nd Street West; it was believed that one of them may be in possession of a firearm. Officers approached the group inside of a business and informed the 23-year-old male suspect that he was being detained for a weapons investigation.

Upon further investigation, officers found a loaded firearm in the suspects bag; as a result, the man is facing charges relating to possession of a firearm, concealing a firearm, and breaching conditions.
