The Saskatoon Police Service can now confirm the deceased woman is 24-year-old, Melissa Duquette.
Saskatoon Police Major Crime Section is now investigating this as Saskatoon’s 7th homicide.

At approximately 11:20 a.m. on April 15, 2024 police were called to the 3200 Block of 33rd Street West for reports of an insecure property.
Upon arrival, officers located a woman deceased in the basement. The SPS Major Crime Section is investigating the suspicious death.
