Citizen Online Police Reporting System

Welcome to the Saskatoon Police Service Citizens Online Police Reporting System.

If this is an Emergency please call 911.

Using this Citizens Online Police Reporting System allows you to submit a non urgent report immediately.

You may also print a copy of both the Temporary and the Permanent police report for your personal records only. These copies cannot be used for insurance purposes

CRITERIA FOR FILING AN ONLINE REPORT:

  • This is not an Emergency
  • The incident does not involve personal violence nor a hate crime
  • You must have a valid email address to use this system. Your email address will not be used for any other purpose.
  • There are no Known Suspects - either person or vehicle - and there is no visible physical evidence at the scene
  • If the incident occurred on a provincial highway or outside the Saskatoon Police Service jurisdictional limits - refer to the FAQ section.
  • Only the below types of reports are allowed to be completed online - see definitions for each type.
  • Reports may not be filed on behalf of a 3rd party (ie. another person or for public property) except in the case of children. Reports must be filed by the actual complainant, owner or authorized representative.

If your incident falls within the above criteria, you are ready to file your report online. Please make sure to turn off your pop-up blocking software before filing the report.
Note: Only information fields noted with the red * are mandatory.

Please Note:

  • All cases filed using the Citizens Online Police Reporting System will be reviewed by an officer. There may be a delay of several days before you receive a response as this system is not monitored on a 24/7 basis. Your report could be sent back to obtain additional information. If such information is not received within 20 days, the entire report will be deleted from the system.
  • Please note: due to the fact that on line reports are usually of a minor nature and without any known suspects, there is often no reasonable avenue of investigation. As a result, most reports will be forwarded for information purposes but will be operationally concluded. If additional information should come to light that would warrant further investigation, you may be contacted by an officer.
  • Filing a false police report is a crime.
  • Do not use the 'Back' button in your browser to correct information entered earlier as that will erase all later information. There is an opportunity for you to proof read your entire report prior to actually submitting it.
  • To protect your personal information, once you begin your report you will be automatically timed out after 30 minutes of inactivity. Please ensure you have all required information at hand before you start.
  • If you feel victimized based upon the hate/bias of the responsible persons, please call the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or attend to the Front Desk of the Saskatoon Police Service between 0700-2300 hrs daily.
  • If you feel the incident is related to Domestic Violence - please call the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or attend to the Front Desk of the Saskatoon Police Service between 0700-2300 hrs daily.
  • Lost Foreign passports, Stolen Canadian & Foreign passports, Citizenship & Permanent Residence cards can be reported electronically. To report a lost Canadian passport you are required to report the loss to the Foreign Affairs and International Trade - Passport Office at 1-800-567-6868.
